What is a Zine?
A small circulation, non-commercial publication of original or appropriated texts and images.
What is a Zine Fair?
A day-long celebration of independent media and self publishing at New Urban Arts through workshops, panels, and the selling of small press publications.
Admission is free and open to the public.
If you would like to sell and distribute your comic, poetry, chapbook, zine, handbound letterpress, or any other independently published works, there is a registration fee of $5 for a half table or $10 for a full table. The registration deadline is April 5th. Register on-line or download the form and mail it to us. Table space is limited so act fast! Set up starts at 11am; doors open at 12pm. Table fee waived for New Urban Arts students.
You can pay three different ways:
1) Paypal
2) Mail a personal check to 743 Westminster St., Providence, RI 02903. Make checks payable to New Urban Arts.
3) Drop cash at New Urban Arts during studio hours Monday through Friday from 3-7pm.

Local artists will be selling their zines and also
participate in the Zine Toss and other games!
