Cupid's Helper this Thursday!
Did you hear yet? New Urban Arts is hosting a pre-Valentine's event this Thursday, Feb 8th, 6-8 pm.
High school students will lead workshops in jewelry, bookmaking and knitting.
Our specialized series of do-it-yourself art workshops for adults are back by
popular demand, just in time for Valentine’s Day.
Please help us spread the word! Invite teachers, college students, parents, friends, and anyone interested in giving their Valentine something more creative than chocolate OR simply being creative in this wintery time of year. No skills necessary for any workshop.
Attending these youth-led workshops is a great way to show your love for New Urban Arts and support young people as artists and leaders.
The workshop costs $35, which includes supplies, refreshments, and creative gift wrapping options. All proceeds benefit our free after school art mentoring program for high school students.
Special thanks to W Salon and Edible Arrangements for sponsoring the event.
